The Role
As a Data Quality Specialist on the Human Data Annotation team, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in human data annotations. This role exists to support the development and evaluation of AI models by creating and auditing annotations that meet rigorous guidelines. You will work closely with the technical team to refine annotation processes, tools, and guidelines, directly contributing to the accuracy and reliability of our models. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will help maintain the integrity of the data that powers Mistral’s AI systems.
What You Will Do
- Create high-quality data annotations based on guidelines and continuous feedback.
- Review and audit annotations to clarify requirements and improve annotation processes.
- Collaborate with the technical team to share insights that enhance tools and guidelines.
- Apply strong research and analytical skills to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Exercise sound judgment when working with complex instructions, limited data, or multiple information sources.
- Adapt to dynamic environments and evolving requirements to maintain high standards.
- Contribute to operational workflows with a high tolerance for repetitive tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant academic background in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- Professional proficiency in English, with strong writing and comprehension skills.
- Outstanding research and analytical abilities to ensure data quality.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt easily to changing requirements and dynamic environments.
- Willingness to engage in operational work and learn new tools and technologies.
- Experience with data, fluency in multiple languages, or familiarity with code is a plus.
