In this Customer Success Account Management – Manager role, you lead the Customer Success Account Management portion of the business within the Customer Success Unit, guiding a team that helps customers realize tangible value from their Microsoft investments. You focus on shaping and landing customer success strategies that differentiate this opportunity from similar leadership roles elsewhere, with clear accountability for driving outcomes across a portfolio of customers.
As the Customer Success Account Management leader, you expand and deepen executive relationships, coach your team to deliver business value conversations, and connect customer priorities to Microsoft solutions and services. You guide the development and execution of strategic customer success plans, ensure delivery programs stay aligned to customer outcomes, and drive adoption and consumption across solution areas. Your leadership directly influences customer satisfaction, retention, and growth, and is critical to Microsoft’s success in frontier transformation scenarios where customer success is a key business driver.

Responsibilities
Lead the Customer Success Account Management team to adopt and execute the customer success strategy, maximizing customer investments and value across all solution areas while driving adoption of Microsoft technology and services.Guide the team in developing and delivering strategic roadmaps and customer success plans, managing executive expectations, and prioritizing engagements based on agreed-upon customer outcomes and account priorities.Own and grow executive relationships with key customer and partner stakeholders, ensuring alignment to business objectives, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and expanding the overall customer relationship.Coach the team on anticipating, identifying, and mitigating customer risks and blockers, including security and compliance risks, leveraging Microsoft delivery methodologies, processes, and tools to support operational health.Model Microsoft leadership principles by empowering, coaching, and caring for team members, driving their growth and development, managing performance, and fostering a culture of delivery excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field AND several years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science or related field AND several years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR equivalent experience.
- Several years of people management experience.
- Fluency in Swedish and English languages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field AND decade plus years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science or related field AND decade plus years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR equivalent experience.
- Several years relevant work experience within customer industry.
- Several years experience managing a consumption portfolio.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Prosci or equivalent certification.
Customer Success Account Mgmt M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Sweden is kr 750,000.00 - kr 1,421,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
