Who you are

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Speak, write, and read fluently in German and English at C1 level or above
• Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Proven theatrical marketing experience
• Demonstrated success in marketing/social media roles at global media companies
• In-depth knowledge of the German media landscape and cultural trends
• Strong data analysis and performance optimization skills
• Experience with project and content management as well as collaboration tools
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Business
• Track record of working with filmmakers, talent, and influencers
• Comprehensive understanding of theatrical marketing and digital platforms

What the job involves

• We're seeking a dynamic Content Manager to join our Theatrical Marketing team
• This role will partner with Marketing Managers to develop and execute compelling social, digital, and influencer marketing strategies that drive audience engagement and box office performance for our film releases in Germany
• Craft and implement data-driven social media strategies aligned with global campaign objectives
• Design and execute a long-term digital content strategy for Amazon MGM social channels in Germany
• Develop innovative digital storytelling and creative concepts with strong local cultural relevance
• Design comprehensive editorial calendars and amplification strategies for theatrical events in Germany
• Monitor and leverage local emerging trends and consumer behaviors, using social listening to inform content and campaign decisions.“
• Coordinate with local Marketing and PR teams to maximize campaign impact
• Responsible for German social account ownership, access management and security, ensuring brand safety and compliance across all channels
• Lead end-to-end content strategy development and implementation in Germany
• Oversee local content production, including briefing, editing, and quality control
• Manage local production schedules and ensure alignment with marketing campaigns
• Drive innovation in content formats and platform utilization
• Analyze local performance metrics and optimize content strategies accordingly
• Maintain local vendor relationships (agencies, freelancers, contributors)
• Build and manage a network of content creators
• Negotiate and execute creator collaborations
• Optimize international promotional opportunities
