Superside is looking for a Cape Town based Video Content Creator who is a content creator at heart comfortable in front of camera constantly watching ads and genuinely excited by the challenge of making paid social videos that people want to stop and watch.

We’re looking for someone obsessed with new video ideas: the person who sees a Meta ad a LinkedIn post or a weird Instagram Reel and immediately starts deconstructing why it works. What was the hook? Why did the first three seconds land? Was it the pacing the caption style the camera angle the way the problem was framed? This role is for someone who naturally brings references has ten rough ideas in the back pocket and wants to test formats instead of waiting for a perfect brief.

This is NOT a traditional video editor role. We’re not looking for someone who only wants to sit behind Premiere Pro and polish footage after the creative thinking is done. We need a hands-on creator who can help find the idea shape the hook appear on camera storyboard the concept support the shoot and edit the final piece into something that feels sharp and native to the feed.

You’ll work side by side with our Marketing Video Lead in Cape Town tag-teaming concepts shoots and edits in our dedicated studio and on location. You’ll also collaborate remotely with Superside’s wider creative team sometimes owning projects from idea to final edit and other times contributing to larger campaigns led by others.

Your main focus will be creating advertising and brand content for Superside including UGC-style ads skits direct-to-camera videos explainers campaign content and quick creative experiments. You’ll also support other teams across marketing on a varied mix of projects when your creative production or on-camera skills are needed.

You care enough about B2B and SaaS to make the work feel specific not generic. You've got the editing and sound design chops to work confidently in Premiere Pro the visual sense to storyboard in Figma and the curiosity to use AI to make the work sharper faster and more unexpected.
