Job Description

This role will be based in Dublin, Ireland.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) is searching for a Vendor Sales Lead to join our team. In this role you will partner with our vendor-based Account Executives who educate and persuade new customers to embrace the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions platform capabilities. The Vendor Sales Lead will focus on training our partner reps and team leads on the LMS product suite, best practices and systems. The Vendor Sales Lead  will help us penetrate new markets through onboarding new partners and/or expanding successful ongoing relationships with existing vendors. The Vendor Sales Lead will be accountable for vendor business performance, customer engagement quality and the successful execution of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions sales programs. This role will drive revenue growth through effective vendor leadership, operational excellence, data-driven performance management and scalable sales execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard and coach vendor-based team leads and reps to the LMS product suite, best practices and systems.
  • Own revenue operations requirements relating to planning, forecasting and KPI development and tracking.
  • Monitor weekly sales performance metrics and share sales & customer insights with internal sales leadership via weekly updates and monthly reviews.
  • Conduct weekly business reviews, ensuring rigorous performance diagnoses, mitigation plans and follow up to deliver revenue and growth expectations.
  • Build influential, trusted partner relationships and vendor sales management while providing appropriate support, best practices and guidance, including consulting on GTM strategy and key market trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales outcomes including finding innovative and scalable ways to deliver results and unlock growth, and partner with central teams to execute vendor operations improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting or customer support
  • 2+ years of experience with development, training and coaching in a sales environment
  • Business fluency in English and at least one other European language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong prior experience in digital advertising industry in sales, account services, marketing or business development
  • Experience leading, managing or partnering with outsourced, vendor-based or indirect sales organisations
  • Experience in motivating, inspiring and driving teams to sustainable growth.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve seller productivity, customer engagement and business performance.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can embrace rapid change and innovation with a superior entrepreneurial sense
  • Strong understanding of sales management, pipeline management, forecasting, coaching and performance improvement methodologies
  • Experience with analysis of sales activities and metrics, thinking critically about a business, owning sales performance management and managing customer outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with experience navigating a matrix environment
  • Ability to influence internal and vendor stakeholders without authority through clear and persuasive communication
