System Development Engineer

Who you are

• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Familiarity with Linux, using the command line and basic administration, and computer networking fundamentals
• Able to troubleshoot at all levels, from network to operating systems to software applications and experience supporting cloud systems or other services
• Experience with Python
• Experience of designing, developing or operating cloud services running on AWS or another cloud platform

• A SysDE is responsible for maintaining their team's services, requiring them to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues that arise within their systems
• They will utilize existing testing, monitoring, and validation tools on their services and infrastructure to ensure their team can continuously deploy new versions with minimal interruption
• A SysDE will contribute to automation improvements and tools to reduce manual operations, to fulfill the requirements of the business and their customers
