Job Description
Description Join Amazon's exciting grocery delivery transformation as an Instock Manager for Perishables in Germany!
We are seeking a talented, dedicated, and highly analytical Strategic Supply and Demand Planner to drive selection and in-stock performance for Amazon Perishables Grocery DE. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of Amazon’s grocery segment in the DE.
This role requires a candidate with proven analytical expertise, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will bring thought leadership, challenge the status quo, and collaborate effectively across teams to drive success.
Key job responsibilities
- Maintain Exceptional In-Stock Performance - Ensure high availability rates across assigned categories/regions, optimizing inventory strategies to balance sales, turns, and customer experience while minimizing waste.
- Monitor & Optimize Critical KPIs - Own and improve key metrics including in-stock rates, procurement lead time, fill rates, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns through data-driven analysis.
- Manage End-to-End Inventory Planning - Drive forecast accuracy and efficient inventory flows (inbound/outbound) while proactively addressing supply chain disruptions.
- Lead Process Improvements & Automation - Conduct root cause analysis of operational challenges, develop action plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to automate manual tasks and enhance procurement workflows.
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Communication - Work closely with retail, operations, and supply chain teams to support grocery growth, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting internal and external customer needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or a related field
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English and German
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
