Job Description
Description Amazon's Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is looking for an SR Risk Analytics Specialist to join the Social Responsibility Strategy & Central Operations team within the Global Procurement Sustainability (GPS) organization. In this role, you will own the design, development, and continuous improvement of data analytics infrastructure, reporting systems, and AI-powered automation that enable effective social responsibility (SR) risk management and performance visibility across Amazon's global supplier network. You will drive analytics excellence by building scalable dashboards, defining metric frameworks, validating cross-system data integrity, and translating complex compliance data into actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. This role requires a data-driven analytics specialist who combines strong technical skills in dashboard development and automation with a hands-on approach to designing, measuring, and improving reporting mechanisms. You must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams simultaneously, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of centralized reporting infrastructure — including program-level dashboards and vendor compliance tracking systems — ensuring data accuracy, stakeholder adoption, and continuous improvement
- Lead the development and deployment of AI-powered automation initiatives including intelligent tracking systems, supplier data extraction tools, and automated workflows to eliminate manual effort and scale operational capacity across SR programs
- Design and maintain metric frameworks, data validation protocols, and dashboard architectures that provide real-time visibility into program performance, enabling leadership decision-making and audit readiness
- Deliver cross-functional ad-hoc reporting and data analysis to support stakeholders across procurement and sustainability teams, translating raw data into actionable compliance insights and strategic recommendations
- Drive stakeholder alignment and adoption of reporting tools by designing intuitive self-serve interfaces, conducting training and enablement sessions, and establishing feedback loops to continuously improve data product quality
- Identify and surface strategic compliance risks through proactive data analysis — including vendor registration gaps, scorecard expiry patterns, and process integrity issues — and present findings with recommended actions to leadership for prioritization
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience in supply chain
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience with SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
