Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Description Amazon Supply Chain forms the backbone of the fastest growing ecommerce business in the world. The sheer growth of the business and the company's mission "to be Earth’s most customer-centric company” makes the customer fulfilment business bigger and more complex with each passing year.

Our Supply Chain team is responsible for planning and executing the network for our EU fulfilment business. We work closely with Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers (FCs), Transportation, Retail and Finance teams, orchestrating the upstream and downstream partners to exceed customer expectations while optimizing end-to-end supply chain speed and cost.

We are looking for an outstandingly analytical, driven and talented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. Within the team, you will own and improve multiple processes and make critical decisions to manage EU supply chain network. You will be responsible for driving EU level strategic projects and change initiatives in collaboration with multiple stakeholders and in alignment with senior management. You will also work on key analytical projects to drive smarter and optimal decisions within the team.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
• Experience performing data analysis in manufacturing, production, distribution, logistics environments, retail, or grocery in a management role
• Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
• Knowledge of R or Python
• Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organization
• Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
• Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
• Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or in a statistical analysis role
• Experience in ownership of projects and communicating timelines and executing independently
• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in Hive/Spark/Hbase/Yarn
• Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
