Job Description
About Bolt Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.
From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.
And we're just getting started.
Why join Bolt?
- Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
- Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
- Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
- Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.
About The Role We're hiring a Senior Operations Specialist to drive performance across Bolt's rides marketplace in Poland. This isn't a typical Data Analyst role. Beyond strong analytical skills, we need someone excited to own operational projects end to end: analyzing our product, building deep dives for Bolt's leadership, and getting into the weeds of our financial processes to fix and improve them. It's a chance to build both analytical and business skills, positioning you to become a top business operator in the industry.
You'll dig deep into data, build the case for action, and own execution end to end. You don't just hand off insights, you fix the problem.
In this role you will lead high-stakes analytical and finance projects across supply, demand, pricing, and conversion, identify what's broken and why, and lead the operational interventions that move the numbers. Analysis is the starting point - impact is the goal. You'll partner closely with Finance, Growth, Marketing, and Product, manage relationships with our key Fleet Partners, and design the scalable processes that let the team keep compounding those gains.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end marketplace analysis: deep-dive data, build models, and develop dashboards across supply, demand, pricing, and marketplace health.
- Diagnose performance issues and translate findings into clear actions, quantifying impact on rides, revenue, and cost.
- Understand our financial processes, own them, and drive improvement.
- Own execution - design and deliver operational interventions across pricing, incentives, driver engagement, and supply–demand balance.
- Act as Account Manager for key Fleet Partners, helping them resolve issues, scale on Bolt, and align on shared performance goals.
- Design, document, and improve scalable processes that the wider team can run with, and hold yourself accountable for measurable outcomes.
About You
- 3–5 years in operations, strategy, or analytical roles (marketplace, mobility, or tech preferred).
- Exceptional data analysis and modelling skills - you independently build and interrogate datasets, structure complex problems, and translate findings into action.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets modelling (forecasting, scenarios, unit economics) and hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, or similar). SQL is a strong plus.
- Process-minded and self-sufficient - you design new ways of working rather than just operate within existing ones, and thrive in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
- Clear, concise communicator in English and Polish, able to influence senior stakeholders and manage external partners with confidence.
- Nice to have: fluency with AI tools to accelerate your work - using AI to analyse data, prototype models, and design or document new processes faster than the next person.
Why you’ll love it here
- Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
- Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
- Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
- Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
- Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
- Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.
Some perks may differ depending on your location and role. At Bolt, using AI daily is a baseline expectation for everyone. If there’s a faster, smarter way to do your work, we expect you to find it. You’re still responsible for the output, so the standard stays high when using AI tools.
Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
Everyone is welcome Bolt is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where all qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, colour, nationality, religion, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are happy to make reasonable accommodations throughout our hiring process. If you require any adjustments, please let us know.
