Now we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build backend services for our Travel Rule product.

This role is an exciting opportunity to work on complex integrations and real-world distributed systems in the crypto compliance domain.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design and develop backend services for the Travel Rule product enabling secure data exchange between crypto service providers

• Build and maintain integrations with multiple third-party providers implementing various partner protocols and APIs

• Work with asynchronous event-driven architectures to handle slow unreliable or partially available external systems

• Ensure high reliability fault tolerance and observability of distributed services under real-world constraints

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evolve the platform and support new regulatory and network requirements

• Take ownership of backend components from design through production and long-term maintenance

About You:

• Strong backend engineering experience (Java or similar languages) with a solid foundation in system design.

• Experience building and maintaining integrations with external systems and third-party APIs.

• Comfortable with asynchronous processing distributed systems and failure-prone environments.

• Good understanding of databases (MongoDB ClickHouse or similar) and data consistency trade-offs.

• Curious and motivated to work on complex product-driven problems rather than purely technical challenges.

• Bonus: familiarity with crypto blockchain fundamentals or how crypto networks and wallets operate.
