Job Description

About Us: At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core and innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, lines of code or A/B tests. We’re the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the following morning. The friends you make. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the food you sample. Through our products, partners and people, we can empower everyone to experience the world.

Role Description Experimentation is part of Booking.com’s core product culture. It helps hundreds of product teams test ideas, learn quickly, and make better product decisions with confidence. As its scale and strategic importance grow further, the track is evolving from supporting individual tests to shaping the systems, guardrails, and capabilities that enable safe, effective innovation at scale.

As a Group Product Manager in the Experimentation Track, you will lead a strategically important product area with multiple teams and broad cross-functional dependencies. You will define and drive a clear long-term product vision and roadmap for a product domain serving internal users across Booking.com, while helping shape how experimentation evolves in a world of increasingly automated and agent-assisted product development.

This role requires a strong product leader who can create direction in ambiguity, build a compelling vision together with Engineering and Data Science, and turn that vision into clear priorities, product choices, and operating rhythms. You will lead a team of Product Managers and Senior Product Manager, support their growth, and help them maximise both individual and business impact.

Visibility and representation are core parts of the role. You will act as a visible and trusted spokesperson for the track, representing its strategy, priorities, and progress across forums and stakeholder groups. You will build trust across Product, Engineering, Data, and business leadership, helping others understand where the track is going, why it matters, and the choices we are making.

We are also looking for someone with strong interest in Agentic AI and adjacent technology shifts, ideally with relevant experience, and the judgment to translate emerging developments into practical product strategy. This role should help ensure the Experimentation Track remains ambitious, relevant, and well positioned for the next generation of product development at Booking.com.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Define and drive the long-term vision, strategy, objectives, and roadmap for a product track, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and priorities.
  • Build that vision in close partnership with Engineering and Data Science, creating strong shared ownership of direction, trade-offs, and execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers and Senior Product Managers, helping them grow their craft, maximise their impact, and deliver strong outcomes.
  • Own the performance and success of a portfolio of products, translating business strategy, user needs, and technology shifts into meaningful customer, platform, and business outcomes.
  • Represent the track clearly and credibly across the company, acting as a key spokesperson in relevant product, technology, and leadership forums.
  • Drive alignment on product strategy across departments, building trust and influence with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Oversee the delivery of multiple product roadmaps, proactively identifying risks, managing dependencies, and removing blockers to ensure effective execution.
  • Establish and continuously improve the processes, ways of working, and operating rhythms that enable teams across the track to perform at their best.
  • Use data, experimentation, and analytics to inform decision-making, define success metrics, evaluate opportunities, and optimise product performance.
  • Leverage customer insights, research, and market understanding to uncover unmet needs, validate product concepts, and shape future investments.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and other cross-functional teams to develop scalable, high-quality solutions that balance customer, business, and technical needs.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, communicate strategy and progress clearly, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations, including senior leadership.
  • Maintain a strong point of view on Agentic AI and adjacent industry developments, and translate these into practical priorities, product bets, and strategic choices for the track.
  • Contribute to the wider product community through mentoring, recruitment, knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and the development of product management best practices.

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 10+ years of product management experience in complex platform, infrastructure, experimentation, measurement, or data-rich environments. Preferred experience in organizations with a strong experimentation culture.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) leading and developing Product Managers, with a strong track record of coaching, mentoring, and raising the bar on product craft.
  • Strong interest in Agentic AI and adjacent technology trends, ideally with relevant experience, and the ability to convert that perspective into practical product direction.
  • Strong experience defining product vision and strategy across a group of products or a complex product area.
  • Strong ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity, cross-functional environments with broad stakeholder landscapes and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build alignment and make strong product decisions in close partnership with Engineering and Data Science.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presence, with the ability to represent a product area credibly in senior stakeholder and cross-functional forums.
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency in success metrics, experimentation, and data-informed product decision-making.
  • Strong technical fluency and comfort partnering on platform or infrastructure-oriented products.
  • Strong organisational and execution skills, including the ability to manage risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity, curiosity, and sound judgment, with the ability to balance ambitious long-term thinking with grounded near-term decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
