As the Digital Sales Manager for the Small Medium and Corporate business { Germany Austria Switzerland} you will lead a team of Account Executives, empowering them to be 'Growth Enablers' for their territory teams as they bring customers on their AI transformation journey.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence and coach Account Executives as leaders for their territory while also engaging in a sponsorship capacity with customers at executive‑level, inspiring them on their journey to becoming Frontier and supporting your team as they enable customer growth, productivity, and profitability with AI at the centre.  You will coach sellers to become effective leaders of their territory teams, strengthen collaboration with customers, help drive growth at scale through Partners and inspire the team to lead as customer zero by infusing AI and innovation into daily practices. Your passion for customer engagement, functional leadership, and developing high‑performing teams will contribute to the success of the whole organisation.

This role is critical to uniting territory teams and ensuring that they present a unified approach to customers and partners. By reinforcing functional leadership and setting the vision for becoming a Frontier organisation, you guide the journey to get there and ensure alignment, collaboration, and effective execution ensuring customers accelerate their journey to a Microsoft AI Platform.

Responsibilities

Model, coach, and care for your team by empowering them, setting objectives, enabling cross‑boundary success, and investing in the growth of others.- Guide your team in mastering strategic account priorities, informing and driving sales strategies through data analysis, deepening technical expertise through continuous learning,  ensuring deep alignment with partners to accelerate growth.

Build a World Class AI Enabled Sales Team - Drive and direct strategic collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, orchestrating the alignment of teams and resources with customer needs and acting as a mentor and strategic advisor with a focus on Sales Leadership & Deal Hunting through to execution and closing with a focus on quality and scale.

Inspire Customer and Partner Outcomes - Direct strategic identification and qualification of business opportunities, serving as a key advocate for Microsoft solutions and partnering with leaders to align investments with business outcomes and advocating for and role modelling with your team  'a systems and scale' approach and an understanding of how to optimise growth with Partners.

Lead and elevate customer engagement strategies, guiding executive‑level relationship building, maximising client relationship development, and fostering adoption of customer relationship management tools and digital channels. Leads with a passion for customer, bringing experience of how to confidently make new connections and engage with Customer C-Level

Promote Execution excellence across the team -  in functional leadership across Territories | enforcing rigour in all aspects of the business including Account Planning, Pipeline Management, Forecast Planning and Accuracy, Deal Execution and Close Planning, Customer Engagement, Partner Coplanning and Territory Team orchestration.

Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or equivalent) or related field.
  • Demonstrated depth of sales and negotiation experience or related work experience or equivalent experience.
  • Proven people management experience.
  • German Language Fluency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or equivalent) or related field and extensive tenure in sales and negotiation experience or related work experience
  • OR significant track record in software industry sales and negotiation experience or equivalent experience
  • Established people management and/or informal or indirect team leadership experience

Digital Account Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 83,900.00 - € 145,800.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Digital Account Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Spain is € 78,600.00 - € 146,400.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Digital Account Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Germany is € 104,900.00 - € 155,100.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
