Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Hospitality, Finance, Communications, Project management, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors.
- 5 years of experience leading operational or project based work and tasks, and coordinating or managing resources for data center locations.
- Experience managing technical and non-technical groups to drive business outcomes.
- Experience with security technologies, including CCTV, access control, incident management systems, and security operations centers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in conducting investigations, including criminal, human resources, and safety incidents.
- Experience in data center and security system elements of design.
- Experience working on active construction sites and providing safety/security countermeasures.
- Experience in security systems or physical security for construction projects.
- Ability to communicate in French fluently to support client and vendor relationship management in this region.
About The Job As a Data Center Security Manager, you deliver full pieces of a project and make significant contributions with minimal guidance. You use your knowledge of security technology, data analysis, and data visualization to plan efforts of a team responsible for small to medium sized initiatives by delivering value-added perspectives and influencing project direction. You contribute to cross-team collaborations, identify and recommend multiple creative ways to solve defined problems. You also demonstrate the behaviors expected of all Googlers as captured in Google's cultural pillars, and you engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations, making Google a better place to work.
As a Data Center Area Security Manager, you will be in charge of managing security vendors and budgeting for security services on the location. You will collaborate with other Google business units to implement security policy, investigate violations, and resolve security concerns at the data center. You will manage active security incidents, respond to all critical events, and liaise with public safety.

Responsibilities
- Implement established compliance processes aligned with Compliance, Strategy, and Risk Management (CSRM) policies, standards, guidelines, and relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
- Manage the security related costs through budget, forecasting, and invoice control for the assigned campus, assist management with financial analysis and input to financial decisions for security requirements.
- Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large-scale event response or crisis management when needed.
- Be responsible for the compliance, security and risk management program at the data center campus or related infrastructure which includes managing site security incidents, escalations, guard contract management and all other physical security related issues.
