Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Customer Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Developer Advocate) within the cloud computing industry.
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Cloud Platforms (e.g., GCP), AI for retail industry usecases, Gemini or related AI Technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in a Technical Sales Engineering Role.
  • 2 years of experience in the Retail Industry.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions.

You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical relationship with customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Test and inspire customers and peers to solve difficult issues with ambitious and novel solutions leveraging a sophisticated set of technical competences.
  • Recommend migration strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
